Top Scholars Tutoring is looking to expand! We are in need of Ontario Certified Teachers OR subject matter experts in the following subjects:

- English (Grades 7 – 12)
- French (Grades 3 – 12)
- Math (Grades 1 – 12)
- Physics (Grades 11 – 12)
- Science (Grades 5 – 12)
- Standardized Test Prep (SAT / ACT math and science)

Many of our tutors are either Ontario Certified Teachers or subject matter experts (meaning you have extensive knowledge in the subject area). We make sure that you feel comfortable in your role, provide resources if needed, and are easily available if you need any assistance. As this is a contract position, you have the flexibility to choose the days and times that work for you. Please keep in mind that as we will be tutoring children, we are most busy on afternoons, evenings, and weekends. Additionally, our pay is competitive and starts at $25/hr.
What Will You Be Required to Do?
As a Top Scholars Tutoring contract worker, you will be required to provide educational support to your student(s) in your specified subject area. You will be responsible for preparing an individualized lesson that is engaging and in line with the curriculum expectations for their grade, but don’t worry – we will be there to assist you if you are not sure where to start. It is important that your lessons are tailored specifically to the needs of each student as each child learns differently. Classes are usually 1 hour long, but can be anywhere from 45 minutes to 1.5 hours if requested by parents. You may also be asked to assist with homework or assignments.
