Full Course Packages
This 20 session/30 hour SAT course offered by Top Scholars Tutoring is available for individual, paired, small, and large group sessions (with a maximum of 10 participants). Students will complete TEN (10) 1.5hr sessions in both Math and English in preparation for upcoming SAT tests. These sessions will cover many of the topics found on the SATs such as algebra, problem solving and data analysis, subject/verb agreement and command of evidence, with special focus on timing and process of elimination. The cost of this package includes 30 hours of online instruction, an individual (PDF) work booklet, weekly homework and practice tests.
1:1 Individual Session

2:1 Paired session

Crash Course Packages
This SAT Prep “Crash Course” offered by Top Scholars Tutoring is for students and high performance student-athletes who are preparing for upcoming SAT tests. During this 4 session 6 hour “Crash Course”, students will complete two 1.5hr sessions in both Math and English in order to prepare student athletes for upcoming SAT tests. These sessions are a condensed version of our 20-Session SAT Package, and covers some of the topics found on the SATs based on student need. There is no focus on timing in this session.
The cost of this program includes 6 hours of online instruction and practice test questions.

Will my child be tutored by an Ontario certified teacher?
How do I pay?
Payment can be made by cash or email money transfer to info@topscholarstutoring.com at the beginning of each session (for drop in sessions). For monthly sessions, a 50% deposit is required at the beginning of the session and a final payment is due at the end of the month.
Do you work with students on an IEP (Individual Educational Plan)?
Yes, we work with your child’s IEP to provide a customized tutoring session.
My child is on an IEP at his/her school - how can I apply for extra time/accommodations on the SATs?
You will need to apply through the college board for any accommodations, but it is recommended that you do so early (at least 2 months in advance). The deadline for accommodations for the October 3rd 2020 exam is AUGUST 14, 2020.
How many years of experience do the tutors have?
Each of our qualified tutors have at least 4 years of experience tutoring, and up to 10 years of experience in education. Our SAT English tutor has over 6 years of experience providing academic support for students who are taking the SATs.
Will my child be given homework?
Homework will be given at the end of a session to reinforce learning, check for understanding, or to practice study skills and concepts. We recommend that homework is completed prior to the next tutoring session.
How much time does my child need to prepare for the SATs?
Preparation for the SATs varies depending on the student; however, Top Scholars Tutoring recommends at least 2 months of preparation prior to the test date for best results.
